These shades aren’t for me but I appreciate those types of shades on others. Kim KW looked cooler initially and with better coverage. Duplicate a high-end product or never buy the same shade twice.
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) has two variations–the original, Kissing, and the matte, Matte Revolution, both of which are featured in the Hot Lips collection. The Kissing formula is supposed to be pigmented and luminous, while also being hydrating, while the Matte Revolution formula is designed to be matte, buildable, hydrating, and long-wearing in a matte finish. The Kissing range is creamier, light-medium in weight, comfortable and hydrating, and average wearing (three to five hours with most shades). Both formulas have a sweet, vanilla scent with no discernible taste. Is in my K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula for a fuller, kissable pout. This light pinky beige nude lipstick is the perfect vintage-inspired color reminiscent of 1960’s screen sirens.
The shade alone looks awful on me, it gives me concealer lips and it’s bad. On youtube, I’ve seen a tutorial Charlotte did on Kim using and she used the Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk all over her lips and she dabbed the lipstick on instead of swiping it. That’s how I apply it too and I absolutely love it like this, it becomes the perfect nude for me and it makes my lips look huge. Yeah, I wasn’t too impressed when I saw some of the initial swatches for the lighter shades in this range -they looked cakey, uneven, and/or settled into lip lines. I know lighter shades are harder to get right, but at this price point, it has to look at least decent. Charlotte Tilbury, a trailblazer in the beauty industry with a career spanning over 26 years, is the expert when it comes to beauty.
